Project Schedule:  Construction began in mid-September 2007 and is scheduled to be completed by October 2008, for the delivery of water to the South Water Treatment Plant (SWTP) by October 2008.  There will be continued coordination with project stakeholders and with the Town of Queen Creek to minimize conflicts with Town Capital Projects.  Please see the site plan below for tentative construction schedule information.

Project Construction:  The Construction began mid-September 2007 at Power Road and Ocotillo Road.  Current construction is taking place on Hawes Road, between Ocotillo Road and Queen Creek Road.   

An aerial site plan is provided below which identifies the alignment for the pipeline.  The dates associated with the various "Areas" or "Segments" are intended to be a general guide, but are subject to change based on construction conditions and schedule.

Currently, construction is complete except for two segments:  1) a small segment on the west end of the alignment which will connect into the water treatment plant (west half of Area 1) ; and 2) a small segment on Hawes Road, from just north of Ocotillo Road to Queen Creek, a small jog east, and then north where it will connect to the waterline installed early on in the project just south of Rittenhouse Road (north half of Area 4 to Area 5).
